Collection: Lease Your Industrial Sewing Machine to Nualocal

Earn 8.33% Monthly Lease Payment and 30% Buy-Back Return on Investment

By leasing your sewing machine to nualocal, you are  helping a thriving and rising designer bring their work to live. You are helping an ambitious young Kenyan bring their business idea to live as most young Kenyans are locked out of the traditional banking system and cannot secure loans to capitalize their businesses.

How the Investment Works:

  1. Asset Acquisition: You buy the machine from our partner, Samknit Machines, we put it to work, and you get paid.
  2. Ownership: you retain the ownership of the machine during the lease term, until nualocal acquires the machine after the lapse of the lease term.
  3. Maintenance and Insurance: Nualocal is responsible of servicing the machines and insuring them from theft, damage as well as ensuring they are used to their full potential in producing Made in Kenya apparel.
  4. Monthly Lease: Lease your machine to nualocal at 8.33% per month for a year and begin receiving payment once production commences.
  5. Payback/ Return: Nualocal acquires the machine from you, at 30% the initial cost of the machine, after the lapse of the lease term.

The impact (social and economic)

  1. Passive Income: You will be able to make passive income by receiving lease payments every month and a 30% return on your investment, instead of letting your money lose value in the bank due to inflation.
  2. Empowering Designers: the machines will be used to tailor authentic Kenyan designs to life, that would not have seen the light of day.  Bringing an end to overreliance on cheap imports and mitumba clothing.
  3.  Financial Inclusion:  by you leasing your machine to nualocal you are creating a path for young and marginalized Kenyans to move from survival mode to active economic participation.
  4. Economies of scale: By leasing your machine, you are helping nualocal lower per-unit production costs. This allows nualocal to manufacture made in Kenya efficiently and affordably, thus competing global giants.
  5. Job Creation: By leasing your machine, you will be creating a job to a tailor, cutter, fashion designer, fashion illustrator, production managers, QCs, and those in the administrative roles. This is to mean that every machine on the factory floor will be a dignified job opportunity for a young Kenyan. Many Kenyans have resulted to doing odd jobs just to survive and put food on the table for their families.
